MDA Research Momentum Award
Recognizing rising stars whose momentum is shaping the future of neuromuscular research.
Purpose: To highlight an early-career investigator who is driving the next generation of neuromuscular research and demonstrating exceptional promise in scientific innovation.
Eligibility: Early career researchers (within 5 years of first faculty appointment or equivalent) conducting impactful work aligned with MDA’s mission.
Nominations should highlight how the candidate’s work demonstrates:
- Innovation and originality in scientific research, with clear potential to make a meaningful impact on the neuromuscular disease field
- Progress toward independent leadership, exemplified by initiative, mentorship, collaboration, and contributions that inspire and advance the research community
- Engagement in MDA-supported programs, community partnerships, or educational initiatives that strengthen the neuromuscular research ecosystem
